Bobby
Graham, the most recorded
drummer in the United Kingdom and his new show "THE SESSION MAN" with his band
The
Rock Experience.
In the halcyon days
of the 1960's it was common practice for record producers to
replace newly signed groups and artists with established session
men like Jimmy Page,
Big Jim Sullivan, Earl Guest and probably the greatest drummer
that this country has ever turned out, Bobby Graham, who although
famous amongst his peers and avid 60's collectors is not generally
known by the general public. Now after 35 years this very private
man has finally been persuaded to share many of the fascinating
stories about who actually played on some of the biggest selling
records of all time throughout the world. |
|
|
Bobby will take your students on a musical trip down memory lane
and will reveal for the first time how he and his fellow session
men crafted many of the great sounds that are still being listened
to today.

This concert is a fascinating insight into
the music business of the 60's and
runs for approximately one and a half hours. The first hour is
with music, with Bobby & his band, were he will play some
of the hit songs he helped to create, and then there will
be a question and answer session for half an hour
culminating in with a fantastic drum solo from the man himself.
